Keepmoat Sponsors Gallery Town Photography Competition

Keepmoat are delighted to be back a photography competition where one talented reader will see their photograph featured on the side of a building in Rotherham town centre thanks to our link-up with the Rotherham Advertiser; presenting the very first Views of Rotherham photography competition.

A spokesperson from Keepmoat said: “Community regeneration specialist Keepmoat is proud to have a major base in Rotherham and is pleased to be able to support the Rotherham regeneration project, Gallery Town, on this exciting photography competition, which will showcase local talent.

So far the competition has had scores of super snaps sent in to celebrate Rotherham’s best photographers — but there’s still time to stake your claim for glory.

Our three favourites will all be framed by a top Rotherham framing studio and the overall winner will be displayed in the town centre as part of the Gallery Town open-air gallery of artwork and photographs.

You can enter any picture taken in the Rotherham area but please ensure your photo are high resolution quality.

Plenty of entrants so far have focused on the likes of Clifton Park, Rotherham Minster and Wentworth Woodhouse but the choice of subject matter is yours — it could be a local landmark or a landscape that sets your heart racing or a favourite portrait or wildlife shot.

Entries should be sent with photographs attached as jpegs to newsdesk@rotherhamadvertiser.co.uk with Photography Competition as the subject.

Up to five photos are allowed per entry.

Please ensure you include your name in the image name.

Entries must be in by 5pm on next Monday, November 9, and the winner and runner-up will be notified the following week.
